10-second tip: 25K Alaska miles with a BofA checking account.

Um, yes to this.

UPDATE: Note that this is targeted, so your results may vary…but worth looking into. You can call 1.800.432.1000 to check your eligibility. Reps are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday – Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 P.M. Saturday – Sunday.

A shortcut to reach them faster is to say the word “Associate” after the first two prompts to speak, and then say “Yes” then “Checking” after the last prompt.

    1. Blah, blah, blah. I’ve had a BofA checking account for 28 years. I don’t recall any issues that I didn’t cause myself. I used to work for them in the 80s as a teller. Amazing how many people bounced checks, didn’t set up overdraft, didn’t pay their minimums on their credit cards, and on and on. They would pay lots of fees for their stupidity and nearly all of them blamed the bank. I would guess since they did not want to take responsibility or change their behavior the fees continued. Then they switched to WF or Chase or Citibank and began hating those banks too. So many people think having a fee free, no penalty bank is an American entitlement.

  1. Any tips for BOFA direct deposit rather than having to change the bank details with the employer?

  2. if the link works can’t anyone just claim that they found this page and demand the miles after completing the terms? link works for me but don’t fee l like calling them. Thanks
