How to use a free planning service from the Four Seasons…even if you’re not a guest.

While I can count the number of times I’ve actually stayed at a Four Seasons property on the fingers of one hand, I actually consider myself very lucky to be able to say that. While the service and attention to detail at Four Seasons hotels is mind-blowing, so is the price. 🙂

That being said, there are great Four Seasons deals to be found out there. You just have to know where to look. Recently I wrote about how to get almost 50% off a Four Seasons stay through TravelPony. Another way is to book through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts (FHR) program.

My girlfriend and I found an amazing deal at the Four Seasons Las Vegas; we’re headed there in a few weeks for a fun girls’ weekend (maybe with my mom, but that’s another story). In the meantime, we’re planning our trip. And we’re using this cool new service from the Four Seasons to do it.

Have you heard about Pin Pack Go? It’s a new trip planning service started by the Four Seasons that helps travellers share and receive travel recommendations via Pinterest. All you need to do is create a board, invite Four Seasons to co-pin, and wait for them to respond. They surprised me with some very clued-in, unique pins.

I’m not a huge pinner, but I do have a Pinterest account and think it’s useful and fun. Pin Pack Go has been awesome for planning our trip! We can each see what the other person has pinned, it’s all in one place, and there are easy links to everything. I downloaded the Pinterest app on my phone, which makes it even more of a snap.

I’m looking forward to using this service in different cities – currently Pin Pack Go is available for over 70 destinations. The best part is that you don’t need to be a guest at the Four Seasons to use the service; they will respond with cool pins no matter who you are or where you’re staying.

Classy, no?

Do you think you’ll give this a try?

  1. I’ve found the Four Seasons Dallas to have fantastic rates. I’m not sure if it’s because when I go I’m traveling for work and we have negotiated rates, or if they’re low in general.

  2. The Dallas (and Houston) FS properties should be thought of as FS-lite. They are at least priced appropriately.
