Weekend haul: the 6 ways I saved a LOT of cash today.

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you had a great one. The kids and I went to visit my cousin in Kauai, and we all had the best time. My favorite moment was when a sea turtle swam up to us as we were wading at Anini Beach. Magical!

I’ve been away from my blog for a bit because I’ve been so busy at work, but I’m starting to get into a slightly less stressful mode, which is really nice. I took some time this weekend to do a little shopping, and I was able to scoop up a few really good deals. These were my favorites – big savings, great items. I hope you like them, too.

Note that several of these deals expire TODAY (Sunday, November 30), so if you are interested, act quickly. 😉

1. Great gift – 30% off a book at Amazon.

This is an easy one. To get this deal, just enter code HOLIDAY30 at checkout.

I ordered Dignity, this gorgeous coffee table book.

Here is a link to the terms and conditions for the offer, in case you are curious.

2. Fashion alert – 30% off $100 or more of clothes, shoes, or accessories at Amazon.

Another great deal. Get 30% off your purchase with code CYBERWK14.

Good for basics (jammies, socks, t-shirts) if you don’t have anything special in mind.

3. Beauty savings – 25% off of any full-size product order of $35 or more at Birchbox.

Time to refill that makeup bag and restock your bathroom cabinet!

Birchbox carries a ton of premium products as well as everyday staples, so this offer definitely worth a look. Use code FRIDAY25 at checkout to take advantage of this deal.

I got three jars of this stuff…

4. Stackable Hyatt savings – save 21.5%!

Just read this post by Frequent Miler and he will tell you all about it.

5. Free money! $200 from Capital One.

This is an easy way to make some extra cash. Read the details here.

6. Possible steals – $25-$45 off a $100 purchase at Twice.

I have a love/hate relationship with Twice for sure. They have some incredible deals, but I will absolutely never sell to them again.

They keep me interested by offering some INSANE deals, like this Chloe cape. Yes, I bought it. I cannot reveal how much I paid for it, but let’s just say the final cost was a fraction of the original price. 😉

To get the discount, enter code CYBER25 at checkout. You can also get $10 off a purchase of $50 or more with code CYBER10, or $75 off a purchase of $200 or more with code CYBER75.

If you don’t already have an account at Twice, my suggestion is to stack this discount with a friend’s referral link to save an additional $10. After you sign up and have an account, download the app to get another $10 in store credit. Here is my referral link if you’d like to use it to get started.

That’s it!

Hope you enjoy the last few hours of the weekend. Let me know if you find any more great deals!

(Note that I do get a referral credit if you use some of the links above. I really appreciate and thank you for your support!)

Awesome tips! I so want to buy from Twice, as I have $30 waiting for me to spend (thanks to you!). I’ve had bad luck so far (their sorting is weird) but maybe it’ll be my lucky month. Crossing fingers!

pinkisnice – Agree that their sorting is weird. I’ve had the best luck with sorting prices (High to Low seems to yield the best stuff). Good luck!

  3. Hey Kendra,
No shopping stories. Just wanted to say that it’s nice to see you posting again! Glad to hear that work is becoming a bit more manageable.
    Enjoy the coming holiday season.

Marilyn B – Thank you!! I’ve missed writing my blog so much! I’m glad to be posting again as well, and it really makes it worth it to (virtually) see regular readers (like you!) in the comments section again. 🙂
