40% off Kimpton, 50% off Four Seasons with TravelPony…they are my kind of site!

I am LOVING TravelPony. Seriously, I cannot believe how good their hotel discounts are. So far, I’ve used their site to book a hugely discounted stay at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, plus I’ve got two upcoming stays booked with them that I am very excited about.

So I was thrilled to hear from them about a flash sale happening RIGHT NOW! The first 500 customers to use the code FLASHPONY will get 10% off their order. While this is a great offer, you can stack it with other promos to make it even more lucrative.

Did you know that TravelPony features Kimpton properties in several cities? Since I am a huge Kimpton fan, I thought I would check out availability for an upcoming trip…and found a deal at the Argonaut in San Francisco.

I really like how TravelPony calculates the total cost of the stay, including taxes and fees, then displays prices that “ring in” nearest to the deal they are offering. I find this to be very helpful – it reduces the time I spend in looking for a better deal. I’ve also found their comparisons to be very accurate.

If you want to stack savings on top of the 10% FLASHPONY code, you can start at TopCashBack for another 10% off.  UPDATE – TravelPony no longer supports the TopCashBack link! So ignore this step!

You can also use my referral link to earn an additional $35 credit. (If you’ve got a link, feel free to share it in the comments section!)

Using this example above, if you add the 10% cash back that you could earn through TopCashBack, your total cost for this stay would be $200. This is $135 less than the closest competitor, HotelClub, which offers a room for $335. In other words, this is a 40% savings!

UPDATE – Savings are not as huge without the TopCashBack step, but still a solid 34%.

Last time I checked, there were 301 more codes available, so if you want to book using the code, I would do it sooner rather than later!

  1. What happens with (a) hotel points and/or (b) hotel elite benefits if book at say a Marriott property through TP? I assume no marriott points earned, but are elite benefits otherwise offered?

  2. Instead of the 10% off, you could also use promo KATE50 to get $50 off any booking over $200! Stack that with your sign-up bonus, and you have $85 off any booking over $200!

  3. Becky – Yes! Me too.

Joe – I think it depends on the property. I have had mixed success in getting stay credit/elite benefits. I think it helps to contact the hotel before your stay with a question (make sure to include your award program number).

John Brew – Yes, fingers crossed.

    Max J – Good find!
