Giveaway! Here are 3 of my favorite things.

a pink box with a set of makeup

UPDATE: Thank you for all of your sweet comments. This contest is closed, and we’ve got a winner!

I wrote yesterday about how I’ve decided that flights are a beauty-free zone. Once I’m up in the air, all bets are off, and I look crazy…conehead hat, heavy moisturizer, cocoon-like scarf. However, because of my in-flight routine, once I land, I am able to emerge like a butterfly from a chrysalis…dewy fresh, renewed and glamorous! Pow!

To accomplish my miraculous transformation, I rely on a few fabulous formulas – and just for fun, I’m giving three of them away. (Guys – sorry about the makeup. I promise to do a more unisex giveaway next time. In the meantime, you should enter this giveaway anyway, because the moisturizer really is fantastic, and your skin will thank you. And no one will know you’re wearing it unless you tell them.)

1. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizer, 1.7 Ounce

At $63 a jar, this stuff better work! Seriously, it’s like gold. Luckily, it’s also one of the most amazing moisturizers I’ve ever used. I put a faceful of it on at the beginning of a flight, and by the end of that flight, my skin actually looks pretty good.

2. Benefit Cosmetics Cabana Glama

I don’t know about you, but a long flight makes me look washed out. This is a fantastic remedy for the blahs. Just sweep on your choice of these brightening/bronzing products when you land, and you are good to go!

2. Passport to Posh Eye Primping Kit

Yes, I am a huge Benefit fan.  That is why I was so excited about the Glam Up and Away kiosks in airports a few weeks ago. The BADgal Lash MascaraBoi-ing and Eye Bright included in this kit are serious rock star products, and they can take you from tired-looking to terrific in about two minutes. Definite must-haves for any makeup kit…especially after a long flight.

  1. I would love to see more posts on how you redeem miles for your trips. I have been doing this for some time now, but it is always fun to see where people’s miles are taking them!

  2. Great post! I’m always looking for ways to look refreshed after a flight – especially since my main reason for travel is to visit the BF πŸ™‚ Long distance isn’t easy, but all the tips and tricks I’ve learned from Frequent Flyers like yourself has helped tremendously. If anything, I’d love to see more posts like this – tips for making flying and travel just a bit more comfortable and enjoyable. I’m always looking for beauty products to travel with, healthy/portable snack options, ways to entertain myself in the airport/during the flight, etc.

  3. Hi I would like to see more deals and steals for family travel with young kids. Most deals are aimed at leaving on short notices which is not a big deal but weather is not always the greatest either.

  4. Any tips for getting over jet lag would be awesome, looking refreshed can definitely help with that though! Thanks for sharing your favorite products!

  5. My wife uses a similar moisturizer, and she swears by it for long flights.

I’d like to see more Deals & Steals posts. You do a great job of writing about unique or less-publicized opportunities, and I learn a lot by reading about the more creative deals out there.

  6. I love beauty posts especially for female travelers it seems like 90% travel bloggers are male dominated.
I would like to see places you ate and sites you saw. I’m all about trying to find those places that were on Anthony bourdain or similar

  7. I like the mix of advice, tips and stories as is now! I like the step by step guides. I love the specials (do this get 5000 bonus miles).

One thing I’d like to see, sometimes there are a bunch of articles published in same day or close together, then sometimes few days w/o posts. I love your blog and read it during my morning tea!!! Would love to see the clusters of publishing spaced out – I can’t always read 3 articles during breakfast, and I miss them when there’s a break. I also love the commenters community!

I feel a bit in the twilight zone, who are all these new commenters this early in the day?? I hope one if your regular reader/commenter wins. I hope the new commenters join the daily convos!!

  8. I like all of your posts so far… especially the ones letting me know about a good deal that’s about to end (i.e. the AMEX syncs and CapitalOne’s recent deals).

I also really enjoyed your “Mythbuster” series… I like when you give an example and show your exact PLAN OF ATTACK on how you would make the most of the miles if they were yours. It helps me realize where I’m missing steps.

Thanks for all the great posts!

  9. I like all of your posts but really enjoy the ones about shopping You have a savvy angle on getting the best deals at cool places which I have actually taken advantage of! Thanks!

  10. I love the travel deals but you also post some amazing deals about various things in general and that’s what keeps me coming back!

  11. I’ll admit, I’m not into fashion or shopping, so I don’t read those posts. However, I love your travel stories and the humor you manage to weave into them! Keep up the great work πŸ™‚

  12. Love your blog and pretty much everything you post. Your travel stories are really epic and something where most other bloggers just don’t hit the mark. Keep up the fantastic work!

  13. I enjoy the step by step processes you go thru in searching/booking travel. Like the travel tips and leads on deals as well. Great blog!

  14. Keep doing exactly what your doing! I love your blog and these products look like just what this mom needs in her Christmas stocking πŸ˜‰

  15. How about some interesting in flight stories? There can be some interesting ones such as
“Deals” that have been made during a flight. I bet a lot of “networking ” goes on too!
I’d like to hear everyones story about the connections they’ve made on a trip or flight. Even famous people sightings. I actually say with Silvester Stalone and watched him read a movie script all the way from Florida to Las Vegas! Thats my kind of story

  16. Thanks so much for this post! Going to Europe for 3 weeks with just one carry on and this wll help alot! Gonna be looking for those benefit kiosks!

  17. I would like to see more post on how to pack a carry-on for long trips, hotel reviews, and how to snag travel deals. Thanks!

  18. I am looking forward to reading more about how you use your points for family travel. I also like to read your stories and deal posts. πŸ™‚

  19. More posts on how to handle hotel hairdryers or is it just better to use a dryer you drag along? What kind of beauty products work best?
