News Flash – Instant Platinum Status!

I know I’m right in the middle of a series on Points and Miles MythBusting, but this is an important news flash.  If you’ve got 5 minutes, you can get instant Platinum Status with Accor Hotels.  Even if you are unfamiliar with the brand and have never stayed in a Sofitel, Novotel, or other Accor branded property, you can leverage this status!

Once you’ve got Platinum status with Club Accor, you can do a status match with both Club Carlson and Priority Club.

Normally, to earn Club Accor Platinum status, you need to stay 60 nights in a Club Accor property or earn 25,000 points.  Platinum status will get you upgraded rooms (when available) at Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery hotels, plus a free drink and welcome gift, late checkout and double points on your stay.
