If it was actual birth and death data and you were watching real world events, it would be creepy but kinda cool. But it’s not, it’s just a statistical simulation. Looks neat but you basically watching a model run at 1:1 time scale.

I like getting the point without the creep factor. It’s also a super easy-to-see reminder for (us!) Americans that the world indeed does not revolve around us.
It is interesting to watch how many more births than deaths, good grief what is this world coming to?
