I Should Have Packed When I Had The Chance
Tomorrow is the last day of school for my kids. Tomorrow evening we leave for our trip to Hawaii. Today was my day to pack.
Was.
Instead I spent three hours in front of Safeway, waiting for the tow truck guy to show up. His name was Moses. He was very nice. He insisted on telling me all about the finer points of towing a car. He even drew me a diagram:
While I appreciated his enthusiasm for the topic, it felt slightly like God/The Universe was sending me a message, like Life Is Short, Pack First, or Carpe Diem, or I Told You So.
At any rate, I still haven’t packed. Can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow!
Sometimes we do our best work/packing/whatever under pressure! I know I do anyway. Good luck on the packing! Aloha!
You’re going to Hawaii, so you don’t need much. And if you have to buy anything, at least you’ll reap lots of points for your next trip!
