Still laughing.

a black and white sign with white letters

Friday’s feather-ruffling post prompted a lot of strong opinions!

This actually wasn’t my intention. I was originally wondering if anyone else had a bad seatmate story to share…but this question got lost in the cascade of comments about the drunk guy, responsibility, comfort, and jerks/boors.

However, there were a handful of bad seatmate stories, including the first comment on the post:

I think we can all agree that this story is amazing/incredible. Perhaps even more amazing is that no one seemed to notice it – everyone was too upset about other comments – until finally this comment came through:

When I read Peter’s comment, I burst out laughing. Talk about some (dark) comic relief!

Thanks to both Roccoco, for sharing his amazing story, and Peter, for trying to (darkly) lighten the mood up in here.

  1. Yeah, I got that the guy died. But how does that make him a bad seatmate? I don’t mean to be rude here but after he passed gas he was innocuous. He didn’t touch her, slobber on her, or pick his pimples in front of her.

Yes, very sad for him and his family. But I choose him as a seatmate over Kendra’s guy.

  2. So I´d decided to not comment on the last posts because I was just rather annoyed at the lack of understanding from some people. Nobody should have to sit through that..

This post, however, has given me just the laugh I needed.
    I´m still shocked! 😮 Incredible!

  3. Now laughing at someone (even a jerk) dying on a plane? Please move off this subject. I miss my Points Pixie deals and tips.
