Whew – where do I begin?

It’s 5:30 pm on the first day of school. I’m sitting here at my desk, sipping a well-deserved cocktail, listening to my daughter practice saxophone. My son is at soccer practice. And I’m diving back into blogging.

It’s hard to believe that a week ago at this time, we were in Barcelona, eating our weight in pinxtos and chocolate. 😉

We just spent over five weeks together as a family, traveling. We were in Tokyo, Kyoto, Paris, and Barcelona…and we were together every second of every day. That is a lot of family time. It was really great, but it was also really challenging, in many different ways.

I’ve got a lot of posts to write and stories to tell. I’ve got advice, how-to’s, questions, comments, observations, and reviews. But I’ve gotta start tomorrow.

In the meantime, I hope that your end-of-summer days are being filled with awesome memories. I’m looking forward to sharing mine with you. In other words, I’m back.

Thanks so much for all of your comments and questions. I promise to answer all of them asap! Traveling for five weeks is no joke, so I’m just getting back on track.
