I can’t wait to buy Baby Foot in Japan. No, this is not an April Fool’s joke.
When I am in a foreign country, one of my very favorite things to do is spend time browsing the aisles of pharmacies and supermarkets – you can find some incredible treasures on the shelves.
I love stocking up on items that are hard-to-find “cult classics” here in the states, but are cheap and abundant in other countries. I also love making new discoveries – products that I had no idea existed, but I soon wonder how I ever lived without. (Only sort of kidding here).
Before I go overseas, I always do a little research to learn what I should look for. Today I was amazed to read article after article about a creepy-but-cool Japanese beauty product called Baby Foot.
The product promises almost unheard-of levels of exfoliation…to the point where the skin of your feet is literally peeling off in sheets (I know! sorry! gross!). At the end of the process (which is supposedly not painful at all!), you will have completely smooth, soft, “baby feet.”
I must have this.
It is the very first item on my “to-buy” list for Japan.
Has anyone else heard of this? Have you tried it? What happened?
.
PS – If you want to see (scary!) results, check out the “peeling contest” page. Yikes!
.
I didn’t know baby foot existed when I went to Tokyo, so I had to spend more for the packet. You can order it on amazon for about $25. I’ve used it twice since reading about it. It does work, there wasn’t any pain. Is suggest wearing socks while it’s peeling to avoid leaving dry skin all over the house. It looks gross but my feet were super soft.
Have not heard of but would love to try!!
Was intrigued – need something like this. Found it on a site called beautysage – the minute I got on the site it offered 20% off and free shipping. Had to pay tax for NY but great deal.
Thanks again, Kendra!
As a swimmer I could really use this………sounds like a road trip to me!
or, you could buy it on amazon…
