Style Your Sunday! Affordable Phillip Lim Debuts at Target Tomorrow – Sept. 15
Calling all luxury bargain hunters: circle your calendars for tomorrow!
I’ve been talking a lot lately about how I’m a huge fan of the high/low mix…I pair my Levi’s with my Louboutins. Normally, I tend to buy heavily discounted designer staples, and mix in a few trendy pieces each season. So, while I do scoop up a few baubles and accents at Target, I typically don’t shop there for clothes. However, occasionally I make an exception.
This is one of those times. Phillip Lim’s collection debuts tomorrow at Target.
“Classic with a sense of madness” is how New York designer Phillip Lim once described his work. He accomplishes this aesthetic by creating wearable wardrobe staples with a little something extra: an unexpected sparkle, an interestingly-placed color block, a standout ruffle.
Phillip Lim’s collection for Target was created for the “modern-day person constantly on the go.” (I suspect that describes most of my readers!)
Here is a sneak peek at the collection, in stores September 15. Prices range from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories.
Tip: if you are interested, shop early. There will be lines.
Agreed that most of your readers are constantly on the go! Some of us are also classic with a sense of madness…Target, here I come! Thank you!!
Don’t keep us in suspense, did you get anything at Target this morning?
P.S. Love the royal blue dress in the picture.
Yes! I was able to throw a dress (the black and white patterned one featured above), and a ruffled tank (the navy version of the one featured above) into my cart before they sold out in my size. I was too late for a couple of other pieces though – by the time I checked out, the items were no longer in my cart. This was not quite as much of a frenzy as the Missioni Target madness a couple of years ago, but it was close!
I am laughing hysterically into my iced tea at the generation gap right now. I had to read your response three times to get it. I thought you had LITERALLY thrown the items into your red shopping cart at the store and someone had snatched a couple of them back out when you weren’t looking. I finally got it. 😉
Honestly, I do shop online, but just more so in person.
Ha ha, now I am laughing because I DID have an in-store experience during the Missoni frenzy where someone snatched things right out of my cart. It was a moment made for TV – one of those that when I tell Josh, he just shakes his head and walk away.
I totally thought you were talking about an in store experience and was thinking, gee how rude for someone to just take it out of your cart. I hope they get more sizes soon!
